Hawk had to know Squirrel would be there. He had to know Squirrel would catch. He had to let go at exactly the right moment. This isn't a game. This is practice. They've done this a thousand times. That's why they can do it now.
Look carefully at the mossy ground under him, the grandmother's written lines are there too. She's the one telling this. Maybe she's the one who taught them how to trust each other in the first place, who knows!
The acorn is small. The trust is enormous. 🌷
