Come Into the Studio

I am about the launch my website with the new collection. In the meantime, join me to receive letters right from my studio. I will share glimpses of paintings in progress, stories behind the work, and Hawk and Squirrel adventures as they arrive in the world.

What lands in your inbox

  • The story behind the paintings

  • A first look at the collection before it goes public

  • Studio process: how the layered paintings actually get made

  • Hawk and Squirrel's next adventure, before anyone else sees it

  • A monthly letter + an occasional special update when something worth sharing happens

A little about me

I'm Evelyne Verret. I paint magical realism from a country studio by a river in upstate New York.

My work follows 2 unlikely friends, Hawk and Squirrel, who go through a growing world of adventures and the wise grandmother and curious granddaughter who live inside them.

The paintings are soul-led, and built in many layers. I share the practice openly.

You're welcome here.
